Dance in Bollywood movies plays a major role in becoming a success
ingredient.....we love the dance in bollywood movies.....we love the
dancers.....and we do copy them in events like Mehndi etc.....so if
u r a fan of bollywood dance.

And, truth be told, Bollywood reflects the country itself.
Colourful, noisy, brash, romantic, coy but seductive
, festive and larger than life, watching an
Indian movie is the next best thing to being here.

( Stars In Love ) After Guru

Guru:
Mani Ratnam is one film maker who always thinks beautiful and successfully manages to create the same effect as his thoughts on to the silver screen….a pure magical touch is what this man has got….be it Roja….Nayakkan….Bombay….Dil Se….Yuva or his latest Guru….

If you Liked GURU then You got to be a dreamer like me...

I agree that Since it’s release Guru has received a mixed response but I am here to express what I truly felt about the film…..to start with lemme tell u that I am highly impressed with the film…..

No I am not talking about the cinematic abilities of the director or his way of film making, which anyways is superb and upto the mark always, but instead I would like to talk about the Subject which he chose to make a film on…..Guru….if you go to see it’s a very tacky and a risky subject where the business prospects are concerned…..but what the hell….a film maker has to be passionate about what he is wanting to make…..if he is sure that a particular subject has struck the chord with his sensibilities he has won half the battle…..i m talkin about that creative hunger you see….

And imagine a film maker of Mani Ratnam’s stature who concieves such a subject and shapes it the way he might have originally planned it to be…..

I was really excited to see the film for various reasons…..firstly it was coming from a genious like Mani Ratnam…..secondly I was curious to know what he made…..thirdly Abhishek Bachchan playing such a challenging role….so on and so forth…..there’s so much to look for in a film which comes from an expert of the trade…..

Gurukant Desai (Abhishek Bachchan) is a self made business tycoon who has a motto in life….Think Big, Think Ahead and Think Fast ….

GURU is a highly inspiring film and makes you more confident to face and fight challenges and hurdles that may crop up in your life. GURU as per me does not carry a documentary or a biographical look….instead it is a well narrated story of a man who always thought big and had the courage to convert his dreams into a reallity….i know I am sounding like a big fan of GURU but that may be because I too am a dreamer and I dream big……

In a small village of Idar in Gujarat, a young man dreams of making it big some day. His father [Rajendra Gupta], the headmaster of the village school, is of the opinion that dreams never come true. But Gurukant Desai [Abhishek Bachchan] dares to dream!

GURU, initially set in 1951,is the story of a very ambitious villager who goes to Turkey first and moves to Mumbai later with his wife Sujata [Aishwarya Rai] and brother-in-law Jignesh [Arya Babbar] to fulfill his dreams.

In Mumbai, Guru learns that the business world is a close knit community ruled by rich and influential people who don't believe in giving opportunities to new players. Despite barriers, he starts a company called Shakti Trading and success knocks at his doors at a fast and furious pace.

Manik Dasgupta or lovingly Nanaji to all [Mithun Chakraborty], who publishes a newspaper The Independent (Swatantra), treats Guru as his own son. But when he learns that Guru is making it big through unethical ways, he along with the Editor of his newspaper, Shyam [Madhavan], decide to expose Guru's unethical ways.
